Our Vehicle

April11

It is hard to look at her without feeling an affectionate glow. Built for a nuclear Britain, and used for fire and emergency service up until 2003, she has always been in people’s hearts and minds.

There are of course the obvious dangers and excitement of the voyage, but there is also a serious and humanitarian side.

We wish to deliver a robust vehicle into a vast and inhospitable environment where its versatility and reliability will be of great use to the Mongolian people.
The vehicle will be donated to the Mongolian Authorities to be used as they see fit.

The vehicle may be used as a fire engine but also as a transport vehicle, distributing water and medical supplies between remote villages.

Here’s a selection of Historic documents that came with our vehicle:

Vehicle Log/Record Book
Open in case of Emergency
MOD Vehicle Report
Marchington Final Report and Release 2005
